I’d say I’m amazed it made it, but it’s been mechanically reliable since I bought it. Electically, not so much. The current list of gremlins -
No interior lights work
Headlights go up, but they don’t go down
Right turn signal and emergency flashers don’t work
A/C blower doesn’t seem to blow (But the A/C freaking WORKS)

They’re literally just sorta stuck on there for the USDM. They also have illumination, but that’s just a hole drilled into the side of the car with a light going to it.

It’s such an awesome feeling to pull up to school in your 80’s ride, I had the same thing with my Celica, it also helped that I was one of three students with a car.
.. Then it didn’t start when I gave a ride to some friends and it became the crappy old car. Girls compared it to night rider though so its cool.
Do people comment on your 924?

People watched when it hydrolocked. Then they smiled when I revved it and it shot a flame. But really, I don’t get many comments anywhere. It’s mostly just looks.

Vapor lock. I always mix the two up, even when I know the difference.
